SMB to Trade Chris Ross For Robert Bolick | PBA trades updates


Robert Bolick may soon find himself in a San Miguel jersey. According to reports, SMB is willing to trade 2 time finals MVP Chris Ross for the young Northport point guard.

Ross has played a major role in helping SMB win numerous championships including 5 straight Philppine Cup titles. But last season Fajardo was injured and the Beermen lost the crown.

It was no just Fajardo as Ross and Cabagnot were also slowed down by injuries. Arwind Santos is healthy but is now 40 years old. Management is looking for young blood, and that means Robert Bolick.

A backcourt featuring Bolick, CJ Perez and Terrence Romeo will reinvigorate the Beermen. Even though Bolick is coming off an injury, many believe he will be able to come back stronger than ever.

The question is, who will the Beermen give up to get Bolick? That remains to be seen.

Ginebra Planning to Get Parks and Wright | PBA trade news now

Ginebra is already a favorite, but there are persistent rumors that the team wants to be even stronger by adding more players. Two names often linked to Ginebra are Bobby Ray Parks and Matthew Wright. Parks has made it clear he wants to play for Ginebra. But the situation he has found himself in makes trading him difficult. TNT owns his trade rights, and they wil not release him without a suitable replacement.  There is also the possibility that Parks might end up going overseas to play. With the uncertainty about Japeth Aguilar and Christian Standhardinger, is there a possibility that Greg Slaughter will return to Ginebra? Aguilar and Standhardinger have huge contract offers from Japan. If one or both of them accept it, that will leave Ginebra with a big problem, literally. They need someone who will man the middle.  Could Slaughter be the answer? While Christian has struggled with the triangle offense of Cone, Greg is familiar with it. The problem has always been he has never played well with Japeth.  But if Japeth accepts the offer from Japan, that could make things easier for Greg.
