TNT to Trade Parks to Ginebra | PBA trades 2021


 It looks like Bobby Ray Parks may get his wish and play for Ginebra after all. 

TNT has been trying to talk with Parks and convince him to return. But he doesn't seem interested. What we do know is that Parks has always wanted to play for Ginebra. And if TNT cannot get him to play for them, he might be traded to the Gin Kings.

The question is who will TNT ask for in return? Parks, for all the issues surrounding him, is a franchise player. He commands a high price and TNT will not settle for anythin less.

There is no question Ginebra wants Parks, and Parks wants to play there. But it depends on who Ginebra is willing to offer.

Ginebra Planning to Get Parks and Wright | PBA trade news now

Ginebra is already a favorite, but there are persistent rumors that the team wants to be even stronger by adding more players. Two names often linked to Ginebra are Bobby Ray Parks and Matthew Wright. Parks has made it clear he wants to play for Ginebra. But the situation he has found himself in makes trading him difficult. TNT owns his trade rights, and they wil not release him without a suitable replacement.  There is also the possibility that Parks might end up going overseas to play. Greg Slaughter to Return to Ginebra? | PBA Rumors

With the uncertainty about Japeth Aguilar and Christian Standhardinger, is there a possibility that Greg Slaughter will return to Ginebra? Aguilar and Standhardinger have huge contract offers from Japan. If one or both of them accept it, that will leave Ginebra with a big problem, literally. They need someone who will man the middle.  Could Slaughter be the answer? While Christian has struggled with the triangle offense of Cone, Greg is familiar with it. The problem has always been he has never played well with Japeth.  But if Japeth accepts the offer from Japan, that could make things easier for Greg. But will Greg want to come back knowing Cone wanted to trade him for Christian? And what about Magnolia who needs Greg too?
