Magnolia to Send Jalalon to TNT for Troy Rosario | PBA trade update 2021


Magnolia wants to trade guard Jio Jalalon to TNT, and they will include draft picks as well, sources said.

Jalalon has been the subject of trade rumors ever since the contronversies surrouding him. But even before that, there were reports Magnolia wanted to unload him anyway because they already have Jerrick Ahanmisi.

Several destinations have been reported, including Northport for Kevin Ferrer. But now it looks like Troy Rosario could be the one. 

Rosario has long been a mainstay at TNT, but management is reportedly with his performance in the last finals vs. Ginebra. This is the reason why the team is open to trade him. 

Troy for Jio alone may not be sufficient, which is why Magnolia will add draft picks. If this happens, Magnolia will finally get a big man who can complement the game of Ian Sangalang.

Ginebra Planning to Get Parks and Wright | PBA trade news now

Ginebra is already a favorite, but there are persistent rumors that the team wants to be even stronger by adding more players. Two names often linked to Ginebra are Bobby Ray Parks and Matthew Wright. Parks has made it clear he wants to play for Ginebra. But the situation he has found himself in makes trading him difficult. With the uncertainty about Japeth Aguilar and Christian Standhardinger, is there a possibility that Greg Slaughter will return to Ginebra? Aguilar and Standhardinger have huge contract offers from Japan. If one or both of them accept it, that will leave Ginebra with a big problem, literally. They need someone who will man the middle.  Could Slaughter be the answer? While Christian has struggled with the triangle offense of Cone, Greg is familiar with it. The problem has always been he has never played well with Japeth.  But if Japeth accepts the offer from Japan, that could make things easier for Greg.
