Four Team Trade is Now Ready | PBA news trade


There is now a big four team trade involving SMB, Magnolia, TerraFirma and Northport.

According to reports, SMB gets Greg Slaughter, Magnolia James Laput and Roosevelt Adams, TerraFirma Alfonso Gotladera, James Sena, Bambam Gamalinda and SMB picks, and Northport Jio Jalalon, Justin Melton, Kyle Pascual and a 1st round pick.

It is well known in PBA circles that both SMB and Magnolia are vying for the services of Greg Slaughter. Now the solution seems to be to give Magnolia another big man.

Laput is 6'10" and has shown a lot of promise for Dyip. He has good footwork and can learn a lot under Victolero. Adams is a walking mismatch who can play different positions.

As for SMB, if they get Slaughter they will have the biggest frontcourt in the league. Imagine Tautuaa, Fajardo and Slaughter in one team. This also means Mo can move to power forward and play outside while Greg and Junmar alternate at center.

Magnolia and SMB will win this trade if it happens. TerraFirma and Northport are obvious losers but then again, we have come to expect that. 

So if this trade is proposed, the question is will the PBA trade committee approve it? Most likely SMB and Magnolia will have to add another player or pick, but in all likelihood it will be approved.

    Hayop n PBA nato parang dalawang company nalang nag lalaban neto dapat dito deretso n agad championship SMB vs MVP n agad kase ganun din nman kase ganun din nmn kitang kita nmn sa line up walang kwenta n talaga PBA

    Kaya nga mga players naglalaro nalang sa ibang bansa kase alam nila nangyayare sa PBA wala ng kwenta paborito ko sana manuod ng PBA pero sa mga nangyare sa lega parang kakawalang gana n panuorin kase alam muna sinung mag champion or sinung maglalaban praps nalang yung ibang team

Blackwater is said to be interested in Magnolia backup big man Kyle Pascual. And the team might be willing to offer a draft pick or player. We all know that Magnolia is in need of a big man. TerraFirma Wants Prince Caperal of Ginebra | Ginebra Trade

TerraFirma reportedly wants Ginebra backup big man Prince Caperal. But it is unclear who they will give up in return, or if the Gin Kings will agree. Terrafirma has been battered by injuries, and having someone like Caperal can certainly help them. But is it a good idea for Ginebra to trade him? Caperal had a breakout last season and won most improved player. But his playing time has gone down with the arrival of Christian Standhardinger. Caperal would definitely get more playing time if he was at TerraFirma, a team that needs a big to pair up with James Laput. And if Caperal were to leave Ginebra, that could give more playing time for rookie Ken Sagulo, who has been languishing on the bench. Such a trade will benefit Caperal and Sagulo. Greg Slaughter to Return to Ginebra? | PBA Rumors

With the uncertainty about Japeth Aguilar and Christian Standhardinger, is there a possibility that Greg Slaughter will return to Ginebra? Aguilar and Standhardinger have huge contract offers from Japan. If one or both of them accept it, that will leave Ginebra with a big problem, literally. They need someone who will man the middle.  Could Slaughter be the answer? While Christian has struggled with the triangle offense of Cone, Greg is familiar with it. The problem has always been he has never played well with Japeth.  But if Japeth accepts the offer from Japan, that could make things easier for Greg. But will Greg want to come back knowing Cone wanted to trade him for Christian? And what about Magnolia who needs Greg too? And it could be possible that Ginebra will want a younger big man like Troy Rike or James Laput, maybe even someone from the draft.
