Northport to Trade 3 Players? | PBA Trade Rumors


Northport has a stacked lineup, so it is no surprise that many players are said ot be on the trading block. Among them are Sean Anthony, Sean Manganti and Jervy Cruz.

Anthony was long part of the Northport starting five, but now coach Jarencio is giving the playing time to rookie Jamie Malonzo. The emergence of Sidney Omwubere has also cut down Anthony's playing time.

This has made him an attractive option for other teams,  including San Miguel. The Beermen want someone who can play power forward with Arwind Santos, and Sean fits the bill.

He does not need a lot of playing time now, but he can still deliver. And because Sean does not get a lot of minutes anymore, his trade value is low. They can trade bench players like Sena or Gotladera and it will not raise eyebrows.

Jervy Cruz is also an intriguing prospect, as he has a reliable outside shot. Then there is Sean Manganti, a young player with lots of potential. So SMB or any team can choose from the three without giving up a lot of players or picks in return.

Blackwater is said to be interested in Magnolia backup big man Kyle Pascual. And the team might be willing to offer a draft pick or player. We all know that Magnolia is in need of a big man. TerraFirma Wants Prince Caperal of Ginebra | Ginebra Trade

TerraFirma reportedly wants Ginebra backup big man Prince Caperal. But it is unclear who they will give up in return, or if the Gin Kings will agree. Terrafirma has been battered by injuries, and having someone like Caperal can certainly help them. But is it a good idea for Ginebra to trade him? Caperal had a breakout last season and won most improved player. But his playing time has gone down with the arrival of Christian Standhardinger. Caperal would definitely get more playing time if he was at TerraFirma, a team that needs a big to pair up with James Laput. And if Caperal were to leave Ginebra, that could give more playing time for rookie Ken Sagulo, who has been languishing on the bench. Such a trade will benefit Caperal and Sagulo. Greg Slaughter to Return to Ginebra? | PBA Rumors

With the uncertainty about Japeth Aguilar and Christian Standhardinger, is there a possibility that Greg Slaughter will return to Ginebra? Aguilar and Standhardinger have huge contract offers from Japan. If one or both of them accept it, that will leave Ginebra with a big problem, literally. They need someone who will man the middle.  Could Slaughter be the answer? While Christian has struggled with the triangle offense of Cone, Greg is familiar with it. The problem has always been he has never played well with Japeth.  But if Japeth accepts the offer from Japan, that could make things easier for Greg. But will Greg want to come back knowing Cone wanted to trade him for Christian? And what about Magnolia who needs Greg too? And it could be possible that Ginebra will want a younger big man like Troy Rike or James Laput, maybe even someone from the draft.
