Jio Jalalon Trade for Kevin Ferrer to Push Thru? | PBA Magnolia Trade


Ginebra and SMB are often the subject of trade rumors and speculations, but Magnolia is looking to beef up its roster as well. After losing 4-1 to TNT  in the finals, they need to make changes.

And one change might involve Jio Jalalon being traded for Kevin Ferrer. This was long rumored before the start of the season. But Magnolia got off to a good start so it did not push thru.

But now it might. Ferrer will give Magnolia a stretch 4 two way player, and height is always welcome. Jalalon on the other hand, gives Northport a point guard to help Robert Bolick. Or even take his place if he does go to Japan as reports say.

Whatever the case may be, it seems likely that Jalalon will be traded.  It is only a question if it is straight up for Kevin Ferrer or he will be part of a bigger trade to get Greg Slaughter.

A lot of the focus on Magnolia is with their big man requirements. But to get that, they may have to trade one of their guards like Jio Jalalon.

Rain or Shine Wants to Trade Belga. But Where and For Who? | PBA Trade Alert

Even before the PBA bubble started, pretty much everyone knew that ROS wanted to trade Beau Belga, and Belga wanted out. To be more specific, Belga wants a max salary contract but ROS will not give it. His contract expires this year. ROS has the trade rights to Beau, so they can keep him. But why keep a player who does not want to be there? If ROS does not want to give him the max contract, they should trade him as soon as possible to get maximum value. NLEX tried to get Belga but ROS wanted Calvin Oftana in return, and naturally Guiao refused. ROS is asking too much for Beau. They need to accept less if they want him. But who can they send him to? Ginebra Planning to Get Parks and Wright | PBA trade news now

Ginebra is already a favorite, but there are persistent rumors that the team wants to be even stronger by adding more players. Two names often linked to Ginebra are Bobby Ray Parks and Matthew Wright. Parks has made it clear he wants to play for Ginebra. But the situation he has found himself in makes trading him difficult. TNT owns his trade rights, and they wil not release him without a suitable replacement.  There is also the possibility that Parks might end up going overseas to play.
